Core Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of the Core Commit Program, a brand-new initiative designed to support and incentivize developers building on the Core blockchain. Whether you’re an experienced developer or just getting started, this is your chance to make a meaningful contribution to the Core ecosystem and earn CORE tokens while doing so!

:hammer_and_wrench: What is the Core Commit Program?

The Core Commit Program is a call for innovation, offering developers the opportunity to earn rewards for their active participation in building on Core. Over a span of 3 months, 10 selected teams will receive funding based on their progress, measured through GitHub commits. This program is designed to provide continuous development support and mentorship to early-stage projects, helping them reach product-market fit and scale for long-term growth.

:bulb: How Does It Work?

  1. Application Period: You can submit your application from October 14, 2024 00:00 UTC till November 14, 2024 23:59 UTC. During this time, developers can apply to work on specific project ideas from the Core Commit Program Wishlist provided by Core Foundation or come up with their own ideas as well.
  2. Project Selection: After a thorough review of applications, 10 teams will be selected and supported throughout the 3-month program.
  3. Monthly Rewards: Each selected team will be eligible to receive up to $2,500 in CORE tokens per month based on their project progress, as evaluated by their GitHub repository commits.
  4. 1:1 Mentorship: Participants will get the chance to connect with and receive hands-on guidance from Web3 titans and VCs, as well as potential funding from Core Ventures and its networks of VCs.
  5. Demo Day: At the end of the program, the 10 teams will present their projects on Demo Day, where they’ll have the chance to showcase their progress and pitch for further support and investment.

  • Earn Rewards: Get rewarded for your meaningful code commits and contributions to Core.
  • Mentorship & Guidance: Work closely with Core Ventures, get 1:1 mentorship, and access to industry experts.
  • Community Engagement: Be part of a vibrant developer community through AMAs, webinars, and more.
  • Shape Core’s Ecosystem: Play an active role in shaping the future of the Core ecosystem by building impactful and innovative dApps.
  • Potential Investment: High-potential projects will have the opportunity to receive further funding from Core Ventures.

:moneybag: Reward Structure

  • A total of $75,000 USD worth of CORE tokens will be distributed over 3 months:
  • A total of up to $25,000 USD worth of CORE tokens each month across the 10 selected teams, based on their performance.

  • Application Submission & Review: October 14, 2024 - November 14, 2024
  • Admissions & Kickoff: November 28, 2024
  • Demo Day: at the end of the 3-month program

Hello @Maryam, is there any announcement or information about the candidates who passed the screening? It’s been 2 days since December 9th.

Hi,
The application screening is in process. Thanks to all the builders we received an overwhelming response and our team is working to finalize the top 10 teams. Hopefully, by the next week, we will be announcing it. Keep an eye on Core builders X for more updates
