Hello Core Devs & Builders,
Core Testnet1 will be officially retired on June 16, 2025. Developers are advised to transition to Core Testnet2 promptly to maintain uninterrupted development and access to the latest features of the Core blockchain.

Migration Guidelines
Make sure to:
- Update RPC URL and Chain ID across all tools, apps, and configs.
- Redeploy smart contracts - contracts from Testnet1 do not carry over.
- Reconfigure dApps/frontends with new addresses and endpoints.
Cross-Chain Compatibility
- LayerZero is not yet supported on Testnet2.
Use alternative solutions like:
Safe (Gnosis Safe)
If you’re using Safe multisigs, please migrate to the Testnet2-compatible version and update your DApp interactions accordingly.
Subgraph Users
If you’re using The Graph, update your setup to match the Testnet2 configuration as outlined here: Core Subgraph Docs – Testnet
Testing Reminder
Please retest the following on Testnet2:
- Smart contracts
- Frontend dApp integrations
- Cross-chain features
- Safe transactions
- Subgraph queries
- Staking flows
Important Date
June 16, 2025 – Core Testnet1 will be sunset. RPCs, explorers, and faucets may become inaccessible.
