Urgent: Cannot Redeem BTC from Staking Address - Ledger Nano S Plus Connection Error

Hi Core DAO Team,

I am unable to redeem my staked BTC. While the funds are correctly locked on the staking address, the “Redeem” function on the website is not working for me.

My Situation:

  • Problem: I am trying to withdraw my 0.01 BTC, but the staking dashboard fails to trigger the signature request on my Ledger Nano S Plus.

  • Staking Address: bc1qjafy88ujfvcmst2k38pkyg8ult3khrea3ujutz7lqpk4pedy7tjq0zww34

  • Current Status: The Bitcoin Explorer confirms the funds are “Unspent” (Nicht ausgegeben) and held in a V0_P2WSH script.

  • Transaction ID of Staking: 4e34a1b7c2f5285bb2934c647d05c358725674b0d89e054288240495081d61dc

Steps I’ve Taken:

  1. I connected my Ledger Nano S Plus via the Core Extension.

  2. I attempted to click the “Redeem” button on stake.coredao.org, but I either get an error message or no response from the device.

  3. I verified the OP_RETURN data: 6a4c505341542b01045c4636f78688eee6137ae7b11c8b93ef4713126510917f346613054d8de508acb7af92f9f9a29e3f260004aaf88069b17576a91406b21bd9381842a4e8839fb86105b648e56b9cda88ac

Specific Questions for Support:

  1. Is there a manual way to initiate the redeem process if the website UI fails?

  2. Can you provide the Redeem Script or the required Witness Data so I can sign the withdrawal transaction manually in Sparrow Wallet?

  3. Is my stake still subject to a Time-Lock, or should it be available for redemption now?

I want to avoid using the Core app if possible and recover my BTC directly via my Ledger.

Thank you for your help!

Immanuel

Hello @Immanuel89

Ensure your staking period has fully ended first. If it has and the UI isn’t triggering Ledger, try clearing cache, updating Ledger firmware + Bitcoin app, and reconnecting via a different browser.

@Immanuel89 please confirm if you have tried using the BTC Staking CLI Tool: GitHub - coredao-org/btc-staking-tool for manual redemption with Ledger?

It was just the wrong address on my side —
With the right one it’s fine now.
